Koop Cattle Co. is our family owned and operated farm.  We are located in Tennessee, one hour south of Nashville in the beautiful valley of

Giles County. Our family has been raising beef cattle since 1969, and we incorporated Maine-Anjou cattle into our herd in 1996.  Our family is originally

out of South East Kansas.  Our cow herd consist of reg. Chi-angus and reg.

Maine-Anjou cows.  We have determined that the maine/chi-angus cross 

cattle are the highest producing cattle we have raised.  We wean bigger

calves now, and the calves that we keep for slaughter (1200-1500lbs) are dressing out anywhere from 63-68% hanging. 

Our goal is to produce cattle that will win in the show ring or on the rail.

UPDATE:  We are moving to Cornersville, TN for a new job.  Chad has taken the ranch manager position at Ebenezer Farms LLC working for Mr. David Smith.   There is 2300+acres of land to attend to and lots of wildlife. The position comes with a house on the farm.  We are very excited to get moved over there.
